Boyu.com.tr virus in Chrome
#1
Good afternoon! Recently I decided to play GTA with friends, I installed it and then installed the liquid cheat menu. The installation wasn't completed correctly, but right after that Google Chrome was changed to boyu.com and a notification appeared that I agreed to the company policy and should use this browser. After that, I deleted Chrome and switched to Duckduckgo. I also uninstalled all recently downloaded programs. After a couple of days, I noticed an unusually high amount of traffic on my system and my PC started to heat up a lot. Edge webview2 was recording all my PC activity and saving the recording. It works all the time, but it shows up occasionally in the task manager, so I can't do anything about it. Maybe someone knows how to fix this?

Hello. Boyu.com.tr is a malicious search engine, that is heavily promoted by browser hijacker viruses. So I suppose that Edge webview2 thing is the hijacker, just it does not have visible effects now. Well, aside from recording, which is worrying. Scan your system with GridinSoft Anti-Malware and delete whatever is detected - this should solve the issue.
